Jam With The Band tracklist revealed

Play 50 songs in ace new DS rhythm action game...

The exciting news to come out of last week's Nintendo release schedule was that a version of the Japanese game Daigasso! Band Bros DX would finally be released in the UK on 21 May. The European version is called Jam With The Band and, as you can see below, it features different tracks from the Japanese version.

You'll be able to play along with 50 classic pop songs and Nintendo tunes such as Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario and F-Zero medleys. There are also 50 more downloadable tunes that you'll be able to get hold of via Wi-Fi Connection.

Jam With The Band seems to be based on the Band Brothers sequel as it enables you to compose your own tunes. Yes, Jam with the Band allows you to program your own tracks in the game's song editor using up to eight different parts on each track from a collection of more than 50 instruments. Or you can create some simple melodies by humming into the Nintendo DS in-built microphone.

You'll be able to upload your own versions of tracks which can be downloaded by other users from a dedicated website.

The game is played on the Touch Screen and there is also a karaoke mode which utilises the DS microphone. It will even analyse your singing style to suggest the best music genre for your voice.

You can also connect your DS to your Wii console and send the sounds from your Nintendo DS to the speakers of your TV sound system. A free Jam with the Band Live channel for Wii can be downloaded, meaning you and up to seven friends can enjoy the whole sound of the band from one set of speakers!

Here is a selection of the songs you'll be able to play along with:-

Deeper Underground

Chariots of Fire

Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?

Every Breath You Take

I'm A Slave 4 U

I'm So Excited

Bad tracklist TBH. But the game is great so if you want it for the gameplay, reccommended.

Wow, whose idea was it to reuse songs from Elite Beat Agents?

Still, there's plenty of variety in there.
