Pokémon Black and White: Zoroark's ability revealed

He really is the Ruler Of Illusion

It has been confirmed that Zoroark will have an illusion ability for Pokémon Black & White.

Zoroark - the star of the forthcoming Pokémon Ruler Of Illusion: Zoroark movie - will be able to call on this ability which enables it to transform into various Pokémon.

Zoroark can be seen in the movie trailer transforming from himself to Suicune to Raikou, and then into an evil Ash.

According to Serebii, Japanese Pokémon fans will be able to capture Phantom Champion Zoroark soon. Remember we reported that three shiny legendary Pokémon will be available to those who pre-order tickets to the new Pokémon movie? Well when you bring your new beats to the game (it's not clear which one), apparently it will

trigger an event that sees you battling against a level 25 Zoroark who can transform into the various Pokémon. However, at various points it will break its transformation and enable you to capture it.

its just the same as a ditto except bigger, hairier and better, but i still like ditto better. C'mon how can you not like ditto he is a pink blob with a smile on his face all the time.
It will be interesting if Zoroark can transform into people in the game like he tranforms into Ash in the film.

I would love this, i imagine it going something like this:

    Player: I choose you, Mom
    *Mom used B**** scratch*
*Trainer (Insert stupid name here) was defeated*
    *Received XXXX Pokedollars*
*Gave some to Mom, she went and bought herself another pair of shoes, :| *

Nice, Zoroark is cool. I think I'll use it in my team.

I think it will be really hard to find though.

Nevertheless, I think I will use it, but only if it fits into an overall team that uses attacks that are super effective against any type.

What if Zoroark turns into Ditto?

    Then the universe implodes.

I hope there are other Ways to get Zoroark without a Shiny Beast. Otherwise he'll be another of my Hated Pokemon because there's simply no way to get them if you live in an Isolated area (I don't ever remember them showing any Pokemon Film in Cinemas here in England)

In other word most people, like my handsome self will have to wait about a million years, give or take a few days, to actaully get Zoroark without a hacking device.
Now I don't know about you but a hacking device is the last resort, the final haven if all else fails, but people would need a last resort if they gave away the whole beach from the get go.
Although it seems kinda pointless in just have Zorua as an egg pokemon when people will most likely evolve him anyway, so this just might be a special version of Zoroark.

Except that Ditto can only turn into the Pokemon it's battling, whereas it sounds like Zoroark can turn into any Pokeomn.

I think Ditto and Zoroark are the single most dangerous things ever made! What if one of them decides to turn into itself! The universe would implode! What if one turns into the universe! What if one turns into Anti-matter or a blackhole!!! ARGHH!!!

There was never a Ditto movie, was there?

I really hope there is a way for us mortals without the means to get to random events to unlock this guy

  16. Red-Wolf Friday 14th May 2010 at 15:44

Since it evolves from Zoroua, it should be relatively easy to find. I think it will be like Lucario in Diamond and Pearl. When you helped Riley on Iron Island he gave you an egg containing a Riolu, which evolves into Lucario.

And in response to ONM's question, yes, it could well be the coolest Pokemon ever. Lucario would OWN it in a fight, but if it's moveset is as good I'll definately be making space in my party for The Next Best Pokemon In The World Ever, Zoroark.

How about if you could catch fellow trainers and enslave them to fight other pokemon.
