E3 2010: Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs hits DS in autumn

The new name for Tracks Of Light

Pokémon Ranger: Guradian Signs is the new name for Pokémon Ranger: Tracks Of Light. The third game in the Ranger series comes out for DS this Autumn and here are some screenshots and a trailer

As ever you play as a Pokémon Ranger who has to protect Pokémon in the Oblivia Region. Pokémon Pinchers have been disrupting the peace by chasing and catching Pokémon (we thought that was the idea) and it's up to you to put a stop to it.

The best thing about this game is that you'll be assisted by Ukelele Pichu. Ues, it's a Pichu who carries a ukelele.

Once again you'll have to draw circles with your stylus on the touch screen to capture Pokémon. Your catching tool is called the Capture Styler and as the story progress your Styler will gain more powers.

By drawing special Ranger Signs you can summon powerful Pokémon that you've befriended during the game, including the Legendary Mon Raikou, Entei and Suicune.

Here are the screenshots and the trailer. You lot rated only voted Ranger as your 7th best Pokémon spin off in a recent ONM poll so we're guessing that you might not be that excited about this one. Are we right?

I have always loved these games, and I will very likely pick this up. Loving it so far.

I'm excited...but the experience just seems like it will be ruined by the fact we'll have to choose that pichu to be our partner pokemon. The first game was annoying to me, as we were stuck with plusle and minun, and althought the second was better with a wider array of choices, there were still a limit. I was hoping for this we could have had any pokemon at a certain point during this game, but i may be disapointed...

I like the pokemon ranger games, but they are not the greatest. But this one has Pichu playing a yukalaylee (sorry if its wrong spelling) so i need it.
