New DSi XLs launch next week!

And Nintendo confirms lots of release dates

Three new colours of DSi XL will be available in the UK from next Friday, Nintendo has just revealed. Yellow, green and blue versions of the handheld will be in shops from 3 October.

Hot on its heels is the latest Professor Layton adventure, Professor Layton And The Lost Future, which will hit UK shops on 22 October. You can read our review in the latest issue of ONM, in shops now.

Just in time for Guy Fawkes' Night is Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs for the DS on 5 November, and two weeks later it's the marvellously fun Flingsmash for the Wii.

Is that an actual Nintendo 64 game I see for the Virtual Console?! What's the matter, Nintendo?!

Shame there's no point in buying one when:

    1) I already have a DSi
    2) Only one colour looks okay.
    3) The 3DS will be here soon.
    4) The DSi isn't that great.

seems completely redundant seeing as the 3DS is out so soon, but the yellow one looks sexy nonetheless

That yellow and black 2-tone one is HAWT, but I'm not spending a single penny 'til I've got my hands on a 3DS.

The new DSiXL colors are lame. Though the yellow one reminds me of the yellow GBC I had over 10 years ago!

But they are just sooo ugly !!! :/

This. And the fact that the two launch colours are far classier is even worse. Those things looks disgusting. Horrible colours to and already horrible looking DS. I'll stick with my little compact matt black DSi thanks.

What I don't get is why Nintendo don't just release all the coours at once. ANyone who knows about business and stuff care to explain? There has to be some sort of explanation.....
