Nintendo officially announced Wii Remote Plus at its Japanese press conference last week and now the company has revealed when the new controller will be released in the country.
Wii Remote Plus is a new Wii Remote which has in-built MotionPlus. This means gamers who own it will no longer have to attach the MotionPlus accessory to play games such as Red Steel 2 and Wii Sports Resort.
According to Nintendo's official Japanese website, Wii Remote Plus will launch in Japan on 11 November - the same day as the Super Mario Bros. red Wii and will cost 3,800 Yen, the same price as the current Remote.
As for colours, it will be available in white, black, blue and red. Nintendo is also planning to release a red Nunchuk in the country on the same day.
In addition to the special Mario Wii, Nintendo is also releasing a new Wii Sports Resort bundle on 11 November which will also include the new Remote.
There is currently no word on a UK release. When news of Wii Remote Plus emerged last month, Nintendo UK told CVG "Unfortunately we have nothing to announce on this today".
