Nintendo TV's Best Wii games of 2010

New episode reveals what should be on your Christmas wish list...

There's only one week and one day to go until Christmas so if you've not written your Christmas wish list yet you had better finish it off. If you can't decide which games you want, NintendoTV is here to help with its pick of the best Wii games of 2010.

The final episode of the year is now live on your Wii's Nintendo Channel and it proves that this has been the year of the platformer. Take a look at the new episode and you'll be able to watch some great gameplay footage of Mario Galaxy 2, Sonic Colours, Sonic 4, Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Yet it's not all about platformers. Music games such as Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock, DJ Hero 2 and Rock Band 3 also get a mention.

Then there are this year's big first-person shooters: GoldenEye 007 and Call Of Duty: Black Ops. Joining them in this week's best of 2010 Wii review are Wii Party and Metroid: Other M.

NintendoTV will return in the New Year with an interview with Edgar Wright, director of Scott Pilgrim. Find out if Gav beat him at Mario Kart when the episode goes live on your Wii's Nintendo Channel on 7 January.

    Yeah, Scott Pilgrim looks amazing,
apparantly has some Zelda music in it?
And tons of retro game references

Nahhh the guy they're interviewing does have something to do with Nintendo because of the fact it has game and nintendo references in it

Can't take the video seriously if it has Sonic 4 on there.

I went to see Scott Pilgrim when it came out the the cinemas; Ceertainly a lot funnier if you know a lot about gaming and really out games. I won't spoil all the references for those who haven't seen it, but an obvious one: Scott Pilgrim's band is called Sex Bob-omb. Yeah.

While interviewing, could you ask him about the games? More specifically, Why they came out on PSN and XBLA but not Wiiware? Considering all the film's references were Nintendo!
