Nintendo has done it again! Six years after changing the face of gaming with the amazing DS, your favourite games company has created another incredible revolutionary console. This isn't just a DS with 3D graphics. It's much more than that and you're about to find out why.

You may have seen gamers being amazed by the console in the latest 3DS adverts. This isn't staged. As one ONM blogger who appears in the ad told us, she had no idea what she was going to be in for when she stepped into the room with the 3DS. Pretty much everyone we have spoke to has had that "woah" moment when they've seen the console running for the first time. If you haven't already played it at the 3DS tour you'll find out for yourself when 3DS launches on 25 March. Before then, our special 3DS launch centre will keep you up to date with everything you need to know about the console...

That's not all. Nintendo plans to release 30+ 3DS games before June including Steel Diver, Resident Evil 3D: The Mercenaries, Dead Or Alive Dimensions and more.

Later on in the year you can expect to be playing big hitters such as The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D, Mario Kart 3D, Paper Mario 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Star Fox 64 3D.

    Played my first 3ds in HMV in Manchester. Unfortunatly enough they had no games(well thats what they told me, maybe at this stage they're pi**ed off running around,lol!) but i got the chance to mess around with one of the AR cards and Face Raiders. I was well chuffed and so was my bf! Makes me even more excited for next Friday to play around with the 3ds in the comfort of my own home! :)

    Very good but wasn't this... VERY VERY VERY similar to the feature in your mag that was only released today? Hmph, I'm thinking of giving up my subscription. I didn't get the 3D cover and now you're basically giving most of it away. I'm not a happy green faced man. ( :mrgreen: Not this)

    I think you should get Nintendogs + cats,if your really into those things like me! In my opinion i don't think pilotwing looks any good.

    thanks ellar14!I kind of think pilotwings resort looks good because i have wii sports resort and i love the flying.thats just my opinion.If you think nintendogs + cats is good then i might get that.Also i was kind of worried because the R button isn't working on my dsi.But then i showed it to my father and he just blowed at it and it worked.must've been dust.thanks again ellar14! :wink: :wink:

    i pre ordered mine in aqua blue and i cant wait to try out the AR cards.A while before i pre ordered the 3ds i tried it out in carlow then when i pre ordered it in portlaoise yesterday i wanted to try it again but he said your not actually allowed to try it out until it comes out??????

    Hey everyone! I just joined in today, YAY...but enough about that :)

    What I really want to say is that the 3DS is one smexy piece of Hardware and I've got mine Pre-Ordered!! Next week Friday here I come! Can't wait to play SSF4: 3D and Rayman 3D on it :D

    I also want a third game but I don't know which one I should buy in this list:
    Pilotwings Resort
    Super Monkey Ball 3D
    Ridge Racer 3D

    If you guys can give some suggestions, that would be grand :wink:

    OMG I think i was one of the first ever people to Pre-Order the 3DS by pre-ordering it as soon as you could 5:00 Amsterdam launch event 20th JAN!!!!!!! In Aqua Blue and it looks absolutely AMAZING havent gone to the shop to have a go so keeping it for a complete suprise probably going to go straight onto Pilotwings or the AR Cards i know someone said that already but i am doing exactly the same!!!!!!!!!

    hey krazybean i think pilot wings resort looks like a good game and so does nintendogs and cats looks like a good game too.but with nintendogs and cats you can use the AR cards to look at your dog and i think that is sooo coool.and if you put one of the character cards (included with 3DS) beside the ? card the dog will where a costume of the character.

    I've pre-ordered mine at Argos, and when I track the order, it says that there may be a delay with my delivery, and I pre-ordered on the 21 January. Granted, it could mean that it wont't be/hasn't been dispatched as soon after the money was taken from the account as possible; but I just wanted to be sure as it would be pretty depressing if it didn't turn up at launch, especially considering how early I pre-ordered.

    I really hope that there is a new pokemon 3DS game!!!
    They could make great use of the AR cards!
    Just imagine, with the large AR cards, you could have your favourite pokemon appear beside yourself, and could then share the image on the Internet, or Facebook and Twitter.

    hey guys.Tried out the AR cards for the first time today.Also saw the mii maker aswell.I also got to try out the new stylus and i think it is way better than the old plastic one.and the telescopic function is cool aswell. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

    The power of new technology truly is great, it's negating the common sense that is telling me that I shouldn't get it until I can have more money left when it's got... unlike now where I will have £4... see also; Toys-R-Us won't let the pre-order be canceled now anyway. Oh well, at least I will get it at launch along with SSFIV.

    The unfortunate thing is that this may cue a new chat up line; 'Do you want to see my extendable stylus?'. I can't wait for Blazblue Continuum Shift II, it is a must purchase for me, and according to release dates it should be out shortly after the 3DS itself is, which won't work in my favour as I'm going to be skint by then. And saving up for a trip in summer holidays that could prove quite expensive. But I suppose that I can cope with SSFIV until my birthday, and then try to mooch as many games as possible.

    Out of interest, will street pass be able to constantly do battles wit SSFIV, namely: will it constantly create battles if I'm sitting in lesson with other people that have a 3DS?

    preordered one at Tesco in stevenage, went to collect it and there was no Q thought we had got lucky but found out the reason there was no Q was because everyone had walked out! they didnt have the keys to the cupboard so no one could get there 3DS or game! very annoying!! :evil:

    I got one yesterday with Pilotwings Resort, and the console and 3D are absolutely stunning. Even just watching the camera pan around Wuhu Island in 3D on the Pilotwings Resort title screen is an amazing way to see the 3D effect for the first time!

    The 3DS is absolutely amazing. I went to buy it in smyths straight after school , but I think I got a bit too excited because I decided to run up the escalater, fell down and gave myself a deep cut in my leg :oops:. Anyways if you still think the 3DS doesn't work then don't worry it works perfectly. 5 stars.

    I bought my 3DS about a week after launch, and have been blown away by its abilitys...
    the 3D is awesome and the system itself feels really powerful for a handheld. Im lovin the stuff that comes pre loaded esp augmented reality which is just insane! My best time on AR Shot is 51sec so far...I took a chance on the launch titles and i am really pleased with the 5 i went for esp as your magazine lists all the ones i bought in your top ten. :) My only hope is that the system updates will also be available through software as i don't have access to Wi Fi :(

    I'm not going to get a 3DS until my next birthday (7th of October 2011 :P ) and I've narrowed down 4 games that I would like to have with it. Pilot wings resort (top priority) lego pirates of the carribean (top priority) Nintendogs + cats ( middle priority) Lego star wars (not desperate). I also agree that those people that are having trouble with the 3DS need to shut up, if it's taken court I'm going barge in, invoke the freedom of speech act and ask the person having trouble with it: "Have you been playing on it 5 hours a day, every day for the last 3 weeks?" If they then reply yes I will look at Nintendo representatives and state: "well there's your proplem sir/madam." And all will be well in the nintendo universe once again. :mrgreen:
