Nintendo is planning to release Mario Kart 3D in 2011 but the company's UK Marketing boss has warned that things can always change.
Mario Kart 3D was listed alongside the likes of Paper Mario 3D and Star Fox 64 3D for release this year in a recent advert and according to James Honeywell, Nintendo plan to stick to the 2011 release date.
"That's certainly what we're kind of planning on at the moment," Honeywell told CVG, "But you know, things can always change, and until we actually make a firm announcement about the release dates, obviously it's good to wait and see what those dates might be."
i will be very happy if im playing mario kart paper mario and star fox this year. what an excellent xmas this year will have!

Mario Kart is the only other game I'm looking forward too along with Zelda and Kid Icarus.
After Mario Kart Wii, I'm a little wary. Or would be if I actually had a 3DS.
I always would of guessed a November 2011 release date for Mario Kart 3DS, much like Mario Kart DS was released in November 2005... and somehow still selling.
When I first read the title, i thought: NOOOOOOOOO! I can't wait that long! D:
Then I realized it is already 2011... :S
If they bring it out November time it'll have to go against big hitters on other consoles which mean they could struggle.
I wouldn't mind a Spring 2012 release tbh,too many good titles and not enough money.
to be honest, even if it did change... theres so much coming this year, I might be able to wait ^^ something awesome for 2012 in worst case scenario
It was showcased at E3 last year along with the 3DS, so this year at E3 all those 3DS games awaiting release will most likely be showcased in more detail at this years E3.
It should be released this year.
I will have no money by the end of this year...but it'll be worth it. XD
Real hope for this year release, as I like asphalt (h8 ridge racer, sorry just cant play!) but mario kart would be amazing!
if it comes in November it goes into my Christmas list.
Nothing is definate though, skyward sword was slated for last year but now it looks like it will be released late this year.
I also hope it comes out this year, I found the 3DS for £169.99 at costco
, but ill have to wait until i go there again.
July = My birthday so hopefully my wishlist is out by then including mario kart

I just hope they release it after my birthday in September - it's something I'd like to get on day one, but after buying a 3DS and Pilotwings Resort I've got hardly any money left!
