Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3DS UK release date announced

When is it coming?

Nintendo has announced the UK release date for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D. It is coming on 17 June, two days before the US version.

Ocarina Of Time 3D is a remastered version of the classic Nintendo 64 adventure, widely regarded to be the best Zelda game of all time.

However, the Nintendo 3DS version should improve on the original with glorious 3D visuals, an intuitive item selection system and extra challenges.

What's more it will also come packaged with the Master Quest, an extra quest with revamped puzzles and redesigned dungeons. This was originally available in Europe as a pre-order bonus with the Gamecube's The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

    Who isn't going to buy Zelda?? This should definitely be the game that starts pushing the 3DS out in huge volume.

    Also, is there a Japanese date yet? Or is it out already?

    I pre-ordered this as soon as I could, already had a go on the demo at an event and it is amazing from what I've seen so far. I hope Nintendo release a demo of this on the e-shop (HINTY HINT!!!) whenever that gets released on the next system update. Good times ahead for 3DS owners :D

    Is it wrong for me to actually be more interested in the StarFox 64 remake than this?

    I like OoT, and whilst this is more of a remake/ upgrade than an outright rerelease, it's been rereleased a few times already (collector's disc, Virtual Console), enough to stop me being overly excited for it. StarFox has been released less, hence more excitement.

    Great stuff. This is one of the couple of main games that I bought my 3DS for, so I'm glad that there's not long to go! I'm hoping to finish OoT 100% this time as I was missing a couple of heart containers when I finished the WW bonus disc version.

    17th of June, the day of my last exam of secondary school. What a perfect way to enjoy the gap between school and college! Never actually finished Ocarina of Time before (gave up at the Water Temple), so not only have I promised myself to finish it, but also try for 100% for the first time in a Zelda game.

    TL,DR version: Can't wait :D

    definitely ... surely anyone over the age of 10 that owns a 3ds will buy it .

    Meh, I probably won't buy it until a few years later, once it's gone down in price to like Ł5-10. Never liked OoT much but the remake might be a bit better.

    Firstly, for those saying it's just another release... The hugely updated graphics look amazing, the framerate is 60fps which is superspeed and it no longer lags AT ALL. Also, the sound quality is better on the 3DS, with better control layout and new content including Master Quest - It has to be bought, it's all I wanted to play at the event in February.

    The box art looks amazing, with Link on his horse and the logo, with a golden background with a border with the Ocarina of Time and Sheik's Harp alternating in each corner - love it!

    I think I will buy it. The niggly bits put me off the original and if they are ironed out this time, I may actually enjoy the game this time (though I finished it once when I was younger).

    I really like how Link looks in this game. I think should be used for a brand new 3ds zelda game. I'm really excited to play this game again, it will probably look amazing. Although, I don't really like the idea of moving the 3ds around to aim... I hope it's optional.
