Master Higgins returns in Super Adventure Island

Master Higgins is back on Wii this week as Super Adventure Island is released for Virtual Console this Friday. It is one of three games available to download this week alongside the DSiWare titles Remote Racers and Successfully Learning English: Year 4.

Super Adventure Island II
Super Adventure Island II
Super Adventure Island (Virtual Console: Hudson Soft, 800 Wii Points) is the third game in the platform series. Originally released for SNES in 1992, it sees Master Higgins returning for more axe-chucking, skateboard-riding adventures.

While Master Higgins and Jeanie Jungle were stargazing, a dangerous being known only as Dark Cloak turned Jeanie to stone. Master Higgins must venture towards Dark Cloak's castle at the foot of Ice Mountain to rescue her.

Remote Racers
Remote Racers
Remote Racers (DSiWare: QubicGames, 500 Nintendo DSi Points) sees you taking charge of one of eight vehicles - Speeder, Monster, Candy, Dozer, Tank, Stunt, Mantis or Rocket - in races around 15 different tracks.

You can race in the garden, through the cellar on the beach or even in the ocean. You can pick up power ups and transform your vehicle as you take on 30 challenges set across eight championships.

Successfully Learning, English Year 4 (DSiWare: Tivola, 500 Nintendo DSi Points)

aids people who want to learn English. They'll be assisted by a little vampire called Freddy.

That's all for this week. Will you download any of these games?

I thought about saving my Club Nintendo stars for the 3DS eShop, but when I emailed Nintendo they said that the stars were not going to be usable on the eShop anytime soon. The eShop uses a cash system, as Nintendo have scrapped the points system. Nintendo told me to keep checking their website to read any news about this.

I'm probably gonna convert my club nintendo points to DSi points and buy some games on there before I transfer my games across when the 3DS e-shop comes out.
