FIFA 12 will be 'the best football game on 3DS' - EA

Will it beat PES 3DS

FIFA 12 will be the best football game on Nintendo 3DS when it's released for the console this autumn. That's the word from the game's producer Matt Prior.

Pro Evolution Soccer 3D was a 3DS launch game but its the mix of street football fun and authentic 11-a-side action that Prior believes will see FIFA taking the title of best football game for 3DS.

"We challenged our development team to develop innovative features that would maximize the FIFA experience on 3DS," said Prior.

He added: "They delivered intuitive new touchscreen controls and a curved pitch in our Street mode that truly brings the 3D elements to life.

"When you combine these features and many other innovations with all the authentic players and kits for the upcoming season, we are confident that this will be the best football game available on Nintendo 3DS."

Lets be fair it hasn't got much competition yet lol. PES was a rushed port so with a bit of time EA should be able to deliver something truly great :)

It could beat it hands down with the ability to play online. I absolutely love football games but to not have an online function this day and age just makes it seem incredibly shoddy.
