This new gallery of Pokédex 3D screenshots show off new Pokémon AR Cards.
You'll be able to download Pokédex 3D next week for free when the Nintendo 3DS eShop launches. It enables you to view the Pokémon from Pokémon Black and White in 3D and read all their essential details.
You'll also be able to use Augmented Reality Markers to watch them come to life and take a 3D photo of them. You can see the Markers in these screenshots.
It's not clear how these Markers will be distributed but you will be able to get posters in the August issue of Official Nintendo Magazine which goes on sale on 7 July.
As revealed earlier this week, you'll begin with 16 Pokémon in your Pokédex but you will be able to complete your Pokédex by wirelessly connecting with friends, via SpotPass or by scanning special Pokédex 3D AR Markers
Yes, each Pokémon in Pokédex 3D has its own individual Pokémon AR Marker - a small black and white image which brings the Pokémon to life in 3D through Augmented Reality.
You can place the Pokémon AR Markers anywhere you like and watch Pokémon jump out of the marker in 3D using Augmented Reality technology.
Set up scenes by placing more than one Pokémon AR Marker side by side and take a picture of your fully animated Pokémon together.
When using the AR Viewer, your Pokémon are fully animated and can be coaxed into performing special actions using Items - some items will result in different reactions from the Pokémon. You can try throwing various items their way to see how they react.
You can also use pictures you've already taken from your SD Card and add Pokémon to your pictures.
As for the Pokémon data, you'll be able to find out vital statistics but also more in-depth information such as at which level they evolve and at which level they learn new moves.
