Resident Evil Revelations will 'blow people away'

Kawata thinks it could be the best looking game on 3DS

Masachika Kawata has told Official Nintendo Magazine that Resident Evil Revelations will blow people away with its amazing visuals.

Asked if Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is the best looking game on 3DS, the producer said "The graphics on Mercenaries are some of the best you can see at the moment. We've been working really hard though to make sure that when Revelations comes out next year, that will really blow people away graphically."

You can find out how he plans to achieve this by watching the video.

Judging by screens so far, I'd say he's right. Resi games on Nintendo have always looked wonderful (REmake, 4) and revelations to me is looking like the sort of graphically powerful game I'd expect to see on 360 or PS3. on a handheld and in 3D? This is going to be the game that made me buy a 3DS, as a longtime Resi fan since before the new millennium, I haven't been this excited for a new Resi since 4.

Not if it has the same graphical bugs that the mercenaries engine has.

I hope so! The screens are making it look like the game is heading that way. But is it strange that I am mostly looking forward to the story? :?
