The game is also known as Super Pokémon Scramble in Japan and It will go by the name of Pokémon Rumble Blast for its US release in October.

Whatever name it goes by, it's still the same game. In the follow-up to WiiWare title Pokémon Rumble you'll have to battle against waves of wind-up toy Pokémon as you go on a mission to collect more than 600 monsters, including those from Pokémon Black and White.

Unlike the main series, these battles will take place in real time and you'll have to face dozens of Toy Pokémon at once before taking on the giant Boss Pokémon.

You can add some of these defeated Toy Pokémon to your team and you can also collect special Toy Pokémon, each with its own unique stats and abilities.

There's also a multiplayer mode which enables two players to connect wirelessly Pokémon Rumble Blast offers two ways for players to wirelessly for a co-op play mode.

Are you going to buy it?

May get it cheap, but it depends really.

Like Samster said, the concept is entertaining (and I love the fact its real time battling) but the potential feels a bit lost in transition. The fact they're toys and not actual Pokemon means you lose the fun and reward in levelling up. Still, I'll probably get it at some point.
