The game looks really nice, i can see that it looks like a big improvment over the orginal ds one

It was amusing to watch Neil's left thumb frantically moving left and right trying to compensate for the previous circle pad input and keeping a 'fairly' straight race line. Thanks for the shortcut tip, it will come in handy.

I've downloaded the Mario Kart 7 free trailer on my 3DS, i have to say i'm even more excited for the game! :D It's an awesome trailer!!! Just gotta say i hate these type of articles that ONM put on the website, because they contain spoilers :x Let us have the satisfaction of finding the shortcut when we get to play the game ONM!

He's filming it, if he had the 3d on, we would see 2 of everything!

You are indeed "error". Nice username, really suits you, no offence, but er... how do you see 3D on the 3D screen? Er... because the images are reflected at just the right angle to go into both eyes correctly, and it uses a special 3D screen?

Is your PC monitor an autostereoscopic 3D screen? IF it is, OMG! But most likely it isn't. You can NOT see 3D images on a 2D screen, and that includes 3D images on a 3D screen on a 2D screen, i.e. 3DS on a PC or lap top. Seriously, why do people think they can see 3D on a freaking PC?

Lots of people like ONM pointing out these things, but if you dont like them, well you're the one who chose to watch this so you spoilt it for yourself.

Anyone else notice this course only has 2 laps?

I just watched the 3d trailer and when I pause the bit when Mario gets an item block, one of the items is the '7' from the logo. I wonder what this means?

Looks cool to me! I may buy it, if the multiplayer is found to be rock solid, and good new tracks.

I've seen this done before at the last show so i'm not really surprised as what i thought id be

Its obvious that i would spoil it for myself if I watched the trailer. The point i'm making is, that there is a greater sense of satisfaction when you play a new game that you've been looking forward to and find the secrets by yourself! :) Isn't that one of the things we all look forward to when new games are released? :)

Nicely spotted, its intriguing :) Nintendo are certainly holding back a lot of info about the game at the moment 8)

It looks pretty good. It just doesn't look like a hard shortcut to find.

Well...yeah, it's fun to discover these things, but you willingly opened an article entitled "Mario Kart 7 gameplay video shows shortcut" and then complained about the fact that they spoiled you. It's just silly, really. :P

I've looked on the Internet and found some really cool characters you can be, such as Lakitu

I've commented on this article because it discusses Mario kart 7, we can talk about the game in general, not just the shortcut. Just because i've commented on this article doesn't mean i've watched the trailer. I only mentioned the spoiler because ONM seem to put a lot of these type of articles on the site, we're all allowed to express our opinions :)

To be fair mate, it's not exactly a spoiler that the next Mario Kart will have shortcuts in it. They all do. If you don't want to know what the shortcut is then you've got every right to avoid the story, it's not like we're telling you where it is or how to get to it without you having to watch the video first. If you want to discover it for yourself then that's ace, no worries, but some people do like to see these things before the game's out so they can see how much work's gone into the track design and realise there'll be plenty of other shortcuts they'll have to find for themselves.

    ...shortcut?

I found this "shortcut" at the demo in Hyper Japan, and I wouldn't really consider it a shortcut when it's one of the two options of track right in front of you, depepnding on whether you want go by by air or water.

This has got a bit out of hand to be honest, i was only giving a point of view. I apologize if it come across as critical or harsh in any way! I'm not that type of person! :( I really appreciate the work you put into making the articles :) I'm not on this site to moan or argue, like i said i'm not the type of person to do that! I'm on here to keep up-to-date with new games that are being made, enjoy talking to others on the site about various subjects, and to enjoy the website :) I apologize ONM :)

Read that again and tell me what's wrong with that sentence... I'll tell you - The 3DS isn't a DS.. there is no original DS Mario Kart. Mario Kart DS was for the DS... This is for the 3DS (which is the next-generation console) and will be paired with Wii U (which is also the new console and isn't the Wii). I think some need to learn about console generations and that 3DS is nothing like the DS... the graphics are completely different - the DSi was a DS but the 3DS isn't.

Hey Icytroid - I liked your post on the Skyward Sword thing, in reply to mine so I think you're cool... However, I think maybe you've taken Chris's comment in a negative tone (which is hard because you can't hear how he's saying it online, that's always the case). He just means that as this is a news site, that you need to expect to read or hear things that you won't know already. I couldn't see his video clearly and I think maybe there's a reason he got someone to film from that distance... I don't know. It's kind of the same situation on Zelda Informer - they're all things Zelda and they give the news but people have been onto them to mark spoilers - when I don't believe they're necessary because if someone goes through with their temptation of finding things out... They're gonna be spoiled and should really know lol Hope you understand what I mean and hopefully you know I was saying this in a good tone 8)

Thank you Craig-E :) Looking back at what i said in reply to Chris, it seems like i might have taken it negatively, i haven't, so i'm sorry if it came across that way :( I appreciate Chris's input :) I feel also that i had to apologize to ONM, because they work very hard at making the mag every month and keeping the website up-to-date. So the last thing they need to here is a critical comment :( I feel stupid mentioning the shortcut in my first comment on the article, lol  Thanks again Craig-E 8)
