3D Classics: Urban Champion Review

Scrapping in a new dimension

Come on now, Nintendo, you're stretching the Classics name a bit with this one. Urban Champion is a game that was dull when it was first released 25 years ago, and since it's a game as opposed to a bottle of wine, it definitely hasn't improved with age.

To be fair to the studio behind this conversion, it's done everything it could to improve this basic fighting game, which features only high and low punches.

There's now a grading system, which gives you titles as you beat opponents, and the 3D effect is perhaps the most impressive so far of all the 3D Classics titles.

It's proof, though, that while you can teach an old dog new tricks, it's still a dog.
