Anonymous Notes: From The Abyss Chapter 1 Review

Rid dungeon of monsters, repeat...

There are some contradictory things about Anonymous Notes: From The Abyss. It's an RPG without much of a story, it's set in a dungeon but all the action takes place outside.

In reality it's more of a hack and slasher, where you plough through stages taking out enemies before facing a boss at the end. There are plenty of weapons and spells to pick up but we found using the bow to be the safest way to reach the boss, saving your magic for the final battle.

Monotonous enough - and once you've finished that, you go back to the start to begin again as the 'dungeon' recreates itself.

Hilariously, there's a second chapter to download, if you haven't had enough already...

That's a shame. It looked fun from the trailer and was planning on getting it. Should've known that 1.80 price tag was too good to be true. At least now I can save my money for something with a little more value. Thanks, ONM!
