As you may already know, Mario Kart 7 will support 8-player online and, most importantly, it will run at 60 frames per second.

It has also been revealed that the game will have a Mario kart 7 channel which collects data from StreetPass, including the ghost Miis of players you pass in the street.

You can also select a player's data from the Mario Kart Channel and then race against them online.

As for SpotPass, there will be daily download ghost data.

Mario Kart 7 producer Hideki Konno is very keen on community features that Nintendo have created for Mario Kart 7. You can even create them yourself.

It's good to see Nintendo are getting in on the whole social netwprking scen, with StreetPass and SpotPass features in Mario Kart 7, and even StreetPass in Super Mario 3D Land!

I never really utilised the Mario Kart Channel on the Wii version, so I'm not that bothered by it. As long as there's Staff Ghosts to challange which unlock characters and the like that'll be super.

Wow! Online 8-Player 60 frames per second is good! Well done Nintendo, you are great at online!
Loving the Streetpass feature so you can then race them online, that will be really fun!
And also daily SpotPass Ghost Data will really add to the replay factor, hope Miyamoto and co. do some!

I hope they have a MK7 channel because I never used the one on the Wii because they always wanted me to use the Wii wheel but I only liked using the Gamecube controller
