Putting aside the issue of a horrific war being reduced to grinning cartoon men getting their limbs blown off, this manages to capture trench warfare in one sense. It is a bit monotonous.
You have machine gunners, snipers and builders on your team and the aim is to advance from the left of the screen to the German stronghold on the right, building bunkers as you go.
It gets more difficult when the enemy start using air strikes, but while the missions may vary the terrain is always the same, making it feel a bit, well, samey.
This was an iPhone game and the controls can be fiddly. You might put up with that in multiplayer but not during a bombardment...
