He has a good job...

Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that he sometimes spends 10 hours a day playing Nintendo games.

In a new interview with Weekly Play News, the creator of Mario and The Legend Of Zelda described a typical day at Nintendo HQ.

Currently he is "continually playing the games and checking their content, and sharing my opinion with the development staff."

As he plays, he jots down his opinions on a checklist and presents them to the Director.

He says he has up to seven games on the go at once even though he usually focuses on three games a year.

Recently his focus has been on Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword and he played it for up to 10 hours a day, only breaking for meetings.

We want his job!

The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword and Super Mario 3D Land are both released in the UK on Friday.

You have to consider the fact that he's alos probably playing the same parts over and over to make sure its the best it can be. We should all be eternally greatful for his personal sacrifice.

No wonder it took 5 years to finish Skyward Sword

I would need at least a couple of breaks inbetween if I was going to play for 10 hours. I can understand why he does that, as some comments have already mentioned.

He's lucky he's not died of nerve failure with all that time. I wonder how long it took him to complete NPC PIKMIN 2 (Just teasin' ya')!

    ONM have a better job.
    Because:
They both play games and write about them for most of the day.
But Shigsy is playing half-finished, crappy, glitchy parts over and over again...
ONM are playing the finished game.
    ONM wins.

    Dear Shigeru Miyamoto,
I hear you play ten hours a day of games, but not any all the great ones you're working on, however I beleive two people could do the work much better as we can compare our thoughts. As a fan of you're fine self and you're work I would like to nominate myself for the perfect person for the job.
    Lots of love

Yes, but then again ONM have to play through EVERY game, which includes alot of crap and shovelware, whereas Miyamoto is only playing HIS games, like Skyward Sword.
