Tekken 3D: Prime Edition will be released for 3DS in the UK and Europe on 17 February.
Nintendo will take over publishing duties for the Namco-Bandai developed beat 'em up just as they did for Super Street Fighter IV 3D and Dead Or Alive Dimensions.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition is the first game in the classic fighting series to be released on a Nintendo console since Tekken Advance hit Game Boy Advance in 2002.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition sees the King of Iron Fist Tournament being fought in 3D for the first time and Nintendo's latest press release promises that the unique functionality of the Nintendo 3DS will deliver "a more realistic and dynamic Tekken experience."
There are more than 40 characters to choose from and they'll be fighting on new stages as well as ones redesigned especially for Nintendo 3DS.
Promising fast-paced dynamic battles with impressive graphics running at a high frame rate, Tekken 3D Prime Edition is also said to make the most of 3DS's wi-fi capabilities.
In addition to the game, the cartridge will also include a full-length 3D CG movie called Tekken Blood Vengeance that focuses on the history and legacy of the Tekken universe.
With The Last Story also set for release on 24 February, it could be a good month for Nintendo fans.
Are you looking forward to Tekken 3D Prime Edition?

Reeally looking forward to this game! I wanna know more about the online features! Hopefuly it will include voice chat and video feed...that would be awesome!
I am looking forward to it but I have these stupid Spirit Creatures not letting me do what I want to do, So if you can tell them to get out of my life i'd appriciate it. Tekken is my favourite fighting game.
lol, you wrote wwi-fi and not wi-fi
Tekken is my favourite fighter, Asuka being my fave character, looking forward to this, and the movie, even if not great, is still an added plus.
I can't wait for this. Tekken has always been my favourite series that fits under the fighting game genre.
Stick Soul Calibur on 3DS and we'll have pretty much every major fighting game playable on the system! Crazy stuff.
Earlier than I expected,I must admit I'm looking forward to this, and no doubt I'll probably get it.
My sister used to have Tekken 3 on the Playstation. I cant remember it and i tried to play it the other day just to see if it was good for this version but the disc is snapped. This is why N64 Cartridges are better
So glad a tekken games coming to 3Ds, now if only soul calibur would come across I'd be in beat em up heaven.
Looks goods and a possible buy
