New Beat The Beat: Rhythm Paradise Wii trailer and screens

The funniest game ever?

Beat The Beat: Rhythm Paradise looks like it could be up there with WarioWare: Smooth Moves as one of the funniest games of all time. watch this latest Rhythm Paradise Wii trailer to see what we mean.

Did you enjoy the lobsters dancing? Or to give it it's technical term, the shrimp shuffle. As with Rhythm Paradise on DS, you'll be pressing one button to keep up with the rhythm.

The Rhythm Paradise Wii screenshots also show off some new mini-games. You've got a fishing game called Catch Of The Day, another game called Flipper Flop featuring seals and an Eskimo, and Forklifter which doesn't have anything to do with Forklift trucks. Instead, it looks as though you'll be picking up baked beans with your fork.

Then we've got Screwbot Factory which has you picking up screwbots, Wake-Up Caller in which you stop the alarm when it reaches the right time and golf with a mandrill. Brilliant.

This sort of game was MADE for the wii. So much better than those cruddy mini game compilations we seem to bo constantly bombarded with.

The mini games look really unique and fun. The shrimp shuffle should be a laugh, looking forward to reading more about Rhythm Paradise in ONM 79 :)

I ner bought the DS original, but have heard good things about it from a mate of mine, and she loves it. I then downloaded the Demo from the Nintendo Channel on the Wii and thoroughly enjoyed it.
As you've said, this looks to have a great sense of humour and I love the art style and animation which is really similar to Smooth Moves, another game I really like. Do we know yet when its released?

That would be because it's made by exactly the same people who make the WarioWare games, it really looks awesome and funny as hell. I've been told I have some rhythm so I'll have to test it out haha!
