New PokePark 2 screenshots and art
The many faces of Oshawott
The Unova Region Pokemon are looking good in this gallery of PokePark 2 screenshots and gallery.
PokePark 2 will feature nearly 200 Pokemon and you can see many of the Pokemon from Pokemon Black and White here, including Bisharp, Maractus, Krokodile, Audino and more. Older Pokemon such as Pikachu and Piplup are also present.
So PokePark 2 looks nice but how will it play? Hopefully it will be more challenging than the first game which, as we said in our PokePark review, was aimed at young gamers.
What's the point in the hi-res screens and then the actual gameplay screens?
The High-res screens are how the game is made and how it actually looks - The problem with home consoles is, it depends on how good your TV can display the game that makes it look worse... Plus, like 3DS ones, when screenshots are rendered, pixelation occurs and the image becomes notably sharper and looks worse. Nintendo develop Wii games on HD screens with 480p composite cables, it's just the TV and screenshot rendering process that makes it look worse. The high-res screens show the landscapes off too moreover...
EDIT: Skyward Sword was created in HD originally, just so they could make the textures easier to see so that they would look better in SD - it helped them see clearer and the original screenshots from E3 were in HD.

Finally, Oshawott doesn't look all moody
Some of these screenshots remind me of Skyward Sword, which is cool.
