You need to use the password ARCEUSVOTE on the promotions page and then you'll be able to download Arceus for your copy of Pokemon Black and White.
This Arceus is available after it won a poll on the official site! The poll asked fans which Pokemon they'd like to be able to download next through the Global Link's Dream World and Arceus came out on top. That means Arceus is possibly the most popular Pokemon in the world.
Of course that shouldn't come as a surprise considering that Arceus is said to have created the Sinnoh region and possibly the entire Pokemon universe, making it essentially the god of Pokemon!

It's an international event and no. You have to capture it in Entree Forest after you send it from the Global Link.
People only voted for Arceus because its an event that hasn't been released in the UK...
I wanted Lugia as it has the Multiscale ability. :/
This really annoys me, as there was NEVER an Arceus Wi Fi event in Britain for 4th Gen, just check Serebii for proof. I had to use a friends action replay to obtain the Azure Flute.

Yay a dream world pokemon that doesn't have a dream world ability or special moves. Yes Arceus is epic and i'm not at all upset about getting a free arceus but if everyones got it then its not special, especially since it's not a got anything abnormal about it. I so wanted an imposter Ditto

so what do i do? i entered the password but now what how do i use dreamworld i never have? i put 1 to sleep in gamesync it appeared on global link website but it wouldnt wake up to let me go in the house to get arceus...please help
I rarely get angry (well, I'm more annoyed really) but this is such a joke. What idiots voted for a LEGENDARY POKEMON on the poll? The whole point was that the winner will be given away with its Dream World ability, meaning it would likely be the only one with it currently available. And instead of choosing something like Drought Ninetales (only an example, it's what I voted for) they went for Arceus. Anyone can get Legendary Pokemon, this was supposed to be about getting something unique and actually rare. What a wasted opportunity.
Every time I look at that Arceus I will think about how many stupid Pokemon fans there are in the world!
WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?
If you haven't noticed, Arceus was never made available in the UK (except for some stupidly placed events), so I voted for it about 1000 times (no joke, there was some glitch in the system) and I had every single Pokémon from Bulbasaur to Kyurem (not including Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect)! That empty space between Darkrai and Victini was really annoying me.
Thank God that Arceus won.
Those of you who think it was a dumb decision, I don't care, it's not like any other Pokémon is hard to get, infinite Deoxys from Guardian Signs, infinite Mew from Ranch, infinite Jirachi from Channel, and just about every other legendary can be caught in old games and migrated. Honestly, you really think that any Pokémon is special anymore?

I don't have a problem, I'm just disappointed. Calm down. There's nothing wrong with Arceus, and it's true it may be the first time a lot of people can get it, but it's just pointless as far as the general idea of the competition goes. Arceus has no Dream World ability, and no special moves like the upcoming Mewtwo. Furthermore, it's coming at LV100 meaning there's nothing to do once you've got it besides box it and complete the Pokedex. If you even want to use it for battling, just remember that everyone else will also have one and it can only be used competitively in Ubers, and this also makes it unable for use in any minigames/in-game challenges.
Pretty sure there was an Arceus event just before the release of Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I definitely remember picking up two of them. Meh, I guess my Marvel Scale Dragonite will have to wait.
Of course everyone would go for the most powerful and hard-to-get. I think the vote would have been more interesting if legendary and event Pokemon weren't involved.
Oh well, one more for the dex I guess.

I Would have liked shaymin,never the less arceus is good enough. oh and by the way Arceus dose have special moves because i downloaded him while you were all complaining, it says he doesn't have special moves on dream world, but once game syncing him to your game and catching him you'll see that he has judgement,recover,this deaf song and hyper beam. what are you seriously complaining at!!!!
When it says 'arceus must be the most popular pokemon' or whatever in the u.s. lucario won the vote and i would prefer a lucario to an arceus

tbh legendarys are like collectables you get them and then don't take them out of the box. I would have voted for something cool like growlithe or a weavile but oh well
i dont like releasing arceus as like a public thing like this. the definition of legendary pokemon is so vague now that most are now just 'one of a kind' like articuno or entei.
why couldn't it be that you got arceus by being a beast at pokemon and actually being awesome, like idk, beating red 5 times, or winning a competition where you have to be good and have to use type advantages at every turn? something you have to earn rather than get for free. not exactly showing its legendary status if everyone has one is it? its not right... like victini was good having it for early adopters, but why then put it on again? i admit its popular, but it makes it less legendary...
i just want legendary pokemon to show that you are legendary, because you want to see a trainer and gasp at his awesome arceus, rather than just be annoyed that another trainer is using that arceus in that event...
because then, its not legendary at all, and just a weird looking powerful pokemon.
"We" are the one who voted for Arceus. Nintendo can't be responsible for it.
The "legendary way" to get Arceus exists, you need an azure flute which must be given by Nintendo, but I can't remember if Nintendo did it or if they just give us the pokemon.
There was a arceus event for generation IV like the US but they also got the azure flute which allowed you to catch arceus ingame and we never got that, I would have preferred Deoxys since I never got guardian signs and you needed 2 people to complete the mission anyway but I ended up getting one off someone on ebay
