New Last Story trailer

Meet The Last Story's characters

This new Last Story trailer introduces us to many of the characters in the new RPG from the creator of Final Fantasy.

We begin with Calista, the main heroine of the game and niece of Count Arganan. She uses Holy magic to heal allies and attack enemies.

Next up is Zael (he used to be called Elza), the main hero of The Last Story. This mercenary is an orphan, having lost his family as a child. He wants to be a knight but he's already a powerful swordsman who can unleash powerful winds from his blade which combines with his allies' magic spells.

Although Zael is the main man in The Last Story, it's Dragan who is actually the leader of the mercenary group. He has travelled with Zael since they were young and is also a skilled warrior. He specialises in defence.

Syrenne is a squad leader who drinks a lot and has a foul mouth. Despite this, she is very considerate of her allies. She fights with twin blades.

Yurick is the youngest mercenary. He doesn't talk much and is afraid of ghosts. He sounds a bit shy but he can still use Fire magic in combat.

Lowell is a mage who can use both Ice magic and swords. He seems like a bit of a joker and a flirt but he's described as a deep thinker who cares about his allies.

Finally we have Mirania, a gluttonous healer who loves the forest and draws her powers from nature.

Man, I forgot this game would feature english voice-acting. Having not played Xenogears, I'm not very familar with this concept. Its a shame I can hardly hear the the voices under the music.
Reckon we'll get Steve, Chris and Gav redubbing this game too?

Looks good. When the character said "Let's finish this" it reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-W-dvl3qr0

Anyways, should I get Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower or this?

I'm gonna read a LOT of reviews before deciding. I didn't play Xenoblade at all and MH3... well, I didn't exactly get a lot out of that. So, I hope it's easier to understand. Oh, why can't every game be as good as Skyward Sword?
