Nintendo release first 3DS DLC in Japan

Decorate your 3DS photos with Mario Kart themes

Nintendo has released the first 3DS DLC in Japan. While most people were waiting for the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy DLC in a few days, Nintendo has slipped out three pieces of downloadable content for an app that was released in Japan in December.

The app is called Tobidasu Print Club Kiradeco Revolution and it enables you to edit photos taken with the 3DS camera.

Now Nintendo has released some new decorative kits, each costing 100 Yen (around 80p). There's a Mario Kart Set, a Spring Trial Set and a Mario Basic Set, all of which include frames, backgrounds and stamps.

Are you happy to see Nintendo releasing DLC? Here's what we want from Nintendo DLC.

Wow, that's pretty out of the blue, ain't it? I hope we get something like this in the future. I'm just happy with the MGS3 Demo on Thursday!
