Wow, it took THIS long to release Mega Man X on the Virtual Console. For shame, Capcom, for shame.

Isn't MegaMan X already on the Wii Shop? I thought it was a WiiWare title... :?

Anyway, looking forward to Pandora's Tower, the Limited Edition especially.

has anyone else heard but apparently some companies are removing games from the virtual console is this true?

Sooo pleased Mega Man X is finally coming out here. Have been really a bit worried by Capcom's treatment of Mega Man for a while. It's like whenever he has a game it gets cancelled or not available in the UK lately (with exception of 9 and 10). Whatever happened to Mega Man Zero Collection on DS and why did the UK never receive Mega Man Collection and Mega Man X Collection on the GameCube? The X series started on the SNES before it went over to Sony :(. In answer to previous post, Mega Man X is a spin off series to Mega Man which has the same sort of formula but has lots of hidden upgrades in the levels which are amazing. It is not the same as Mega Man 10 on wiiware which follows on from Mega Man 9 :) I think the Mega Man X series went on to have about 7 direct sequels?

Some games have been removed but not many. So far Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on NES, R-Type on Master System and Last Ninja 3 on Commodore 64.

There is a list on wikipedia if you search on "List of Virtual Console games (PAL region)" or maybe the link will work...

Thank you that is good to know! Do you know how to tell the difference between Europe and US versions? Am I right in thinking US version comes in a thin, dark box?
