Wii U is very sexy says Aliens Colonial Marines chief

Extra RAM and processing power means Wii U version will be one of the best looking

A week after Gearbox's Randy Pitchford bigged up the Wii U version of Aliens Colonial Marines, the director of the game has chipped in with his thoughts on Nintendo's new console. He thinks it's a sexy machine!

In this interview, Brian Martell explained what the Wii U controller means for the game and he also revealed why the Wii U version will be one of the best looking.

"It will be one of the best looking versions because they've got more Ram, they're late in the cycle, so they've got this really good processor," said Martell. Watch the video for more from Martell plus some gameplay footage.

I really hope that that extra RAM helps, because the Wii U should be a system thats in the same league as 360/PS3 I don't want it to match the power of 720/PS4 I think Microsoft and SONY are jumping the gun if they do go down that road of raw power again. Developers are just getting used to the development cycles and possibilites of this power
But I also think it has to beat the current systems, it just has too do things better than them developers should be saying 'Oh this works just like 360, we can develop for this easy. And wow thats easier to do and we still have resources left over, this is great.'

It's a very difficult ground for Nintendo to find, but if they do developers will jump at the chance to develop for this system it'll be easy and comfortable, but you find you can do more than you expected and thats without the controller... Very excited for this system E3 is going to be the best yet

always nice to have more RAM, but if you're using that all on better graphics then that's just wasteful. I'd much prefer a larger area packed with more stuff and huge set pieces to being able to count the hairs on the protaganist's chin (BECAUSE HIS FACE LOOKS HD AND SUPER REAL!!!!!).

I'm going to say right now (and I'm sure you all know this), that recent rumour is total nonsense. If the leaked specs are accurate, the Wii U should be more powerful graphically than even the Nextbox. The PS4, we just don't know, but I think it will only be a little more powerful than the Wii U based on quotes from Sony, and well, logic. Basically, anyone who buys this on Wii U would have the right to be annoyed if it WASN'T better looking than the other console versions (and broadly similar to PC).

So, this means that Wii U is good looking in a sensual way? Riiiiiight.

E3 is only 9 weeks away; I'm really interested in the final version of Wii U and the innovation it will bring to a market going stale. Until then, it's all conjecture.

If you save your money and Instead of buying a PS4/Xbox 720, you could Buy a Gaming Computer which is 10x more powerful.
