Latest PES 13 trailer shows dynamic control options

Releasing this September on 3DS and Wii

A new trailer for the upcoming PES 13 has appeared online. It shows how the 3DS and Wii controls will add a new dimension to the gameplay, utilising the 3DS touch-screen and the Wii's motion controls.

3DS players will use the touch-screen to select multiple skills and tactics, judging by the trailer. We see the player selects a skill from the range of options available, causing the footballer to skip to his right, allowing a goal to be scored.

It looks like Wii players can draw custom runs on-screen for their footballers, and can pass the ball with pinpoint accuracy.

While there is still little news on a Wii U release, PES 2013 is slated for release on September 27th for both 3DS and Wii.

Considering that i'm still playing PES 2009, with the classic controller, the motion controls don't interest me.

I'll have to see how the 3DS version fares against the new FIFA before i make a decision.

the 3ds looks very good. and considering EA are saying nothing on the 3ds version of fifa, (i've emailed them a lot about it) so i might just go for PES instead!

To be honest, i would like an updated version (it's getting a bit silly seeing Wigan, Hull, Blackburn and Middlesborough as Master League title contenders each season, and virtually every noteworthy player has now retired and come up through the youth system again!) but I've put together so many custom teams that I use for my own fictional leagues that I couldn't possibly be bothered to put the hours into making them again.

Seriously, i've probably lost 2 weeks of my life just messing around on the player edit screen. It was either that or have a league of 20 teams of identikit bald guys.

We're still waiting for a great football game on 3DS, and there's no excuses this year having had a year to get to grips with the console. Last year's efforts from FIFA and PES were average at best.

    Hello Sam,

Latest PES 13 trailer shows dynamic control options is a bit kinda cool but im still waiting that the PES 2012 gameplay would be in a 3D already. This wide range of playing options makes the product even more attractive to gamers.
