8. The pink blob was a placeholder

In an interview with Masahiro Sakurai, it was revealed that Kirby's design was originally just a placeholder created during the development of Kirby's Dream Land. This explains Kirby's very simple, blob-like appearance. Over time, Sakurai grew fond of the placeholder and felt it worked better than later designs, so decided to stick with it. Kirby was also known as Twinkle Popopo during this time.

For a change I actually knew qutie a few of these facts. But that Smash Bros hat fact was awesome and that sakura voiced dedede one sounds mad.

I've seen Meta Knight's face and he looks exactly like Kirby (Except he's black instead of pink). If you beat him at the end of the orange ocean level, you slice his mask off.

I never knew the creator of Kirby and Smash Bros voiced Dedede in Kirby 64 and Brawl. Still 10 out of 11 isn't bad.

For Fact 5, I knew about the Zelda headdress thing but I wasn’t aware of the backwards cap and fire breathing facts and for Fact 7, I knew that Masahiro Sakurai voiced King Dedede in Super Smash Bros. Brawl but not in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. As for the rest of the facts, I knew them all bar Facts 9 and 10.

Kirby is my favourite Nintendo characterand game series ever so i knew a lot of these.i never knew that master hand and crazy hand (the smash hands as i like to call them) were a boss in amazing mirror though.
does anyone know the european release of kirby's dream collection, gamestop says it's out on the 16th of this month but thre're not always right, for example they said luigi's mansion two was out on the same day as kid icarus uprising, then they said the first of april and they were wrong both times (looking back mabey the 1st of april could have been an april fools joke but it seems unlikely)

I forgot to mention that Kirby's Adventure's story inspired by the one of the original Paper Mario. In Kirby's Adventure, King Dedede stole the Star Rod, the power source of the Fountain of Dreams, split it into seven pieces and gave six of them to his servants, who are the bosses of the game. Dedede did this because the Fountain of Dreams was giving residents of Dream Land nightmares due to the main antagonist, the Nightmare Wizard, being inside of the fountain. In Paper Mario, main antagonist Bowser stole the Star Rod, an artefact that served as a power source for stars and the seven Star Spirits along with their wish-granting and abducted the Star Spirits and gave each one to his servants, who are the Chapter bosses of the game. Bowser stole the Star Rod to increase his power so that he could take over the Mushroom Kingdom.
