Dragon Quest X Wii U will feature the same content as Wii version

New details on the Wii U version of the hit Japanese RPG

The Dragon Quest X Wii UK release date has yet to be confirmed but Square-Enix has started talking about the Wii U version.

The word is that the content will remain the same between both versions but it will feature HD visuals, meaning that moderate improvements have been made.

If you have both games, characters and save data can be transferred across.

Dragon Quest X is out now in Japan but a release date has yet to be set for the Wii U version.

There is actually a release date for the Wii U version in Japan: During March, April or May.

By the time DQ X comes out to the UK,I think it'll just be a Wii U exclusive.

I don't know. While that certainly seems likely, there is no denying that after Dragon Quest IX, a lot of people are aware of the series and so Square Enix will probably want to be able to sell it to as many as possible. It depends on the sales of the Wii U really, which considering it is selling out quite regularly, seem quite good indeed.

I would probably choose a Wii U version over a Wii version, as I suspect it will use the gamepad, which could prove more helpful than the Wii remote and Nunchuk or the classic controller.
