Crash Bandicoot Bounces Back On Wii And DS

First screens of Mind Over Mutant

Crash Bandicoot is returning to Wii and DS this autumn in Mind Over Mutant and he's bringing his sister with him for the fight against Neo Cortex.

This time Neo Cortex and N.Brio have developed a new evil text messaging device that can control mutant and bandicoot minds and it's up to Crash to free the titans and save the day.

The adventure is playable in co-op mode with one player controlling Crash and another taking charge of Coco. Both characters have new special skills to call upon on this new adventure.

Crash can climb walls, dodge and counter attack, plus dig like a real-life bandicoot. Strange that he hasn't done that before, really. We're also told that Coco has a new treasure hunt ability.

As in Crash Of The Titans, the bandicoot also has the ability to 'jack' and control his enemies but now now he can store his favourite monsters in his pocket, upgrade them and utilise their powers when they are most advantageous.

Crash Bandicoot made a decent start to his Wii career with Crash Of The Titans. Fans will be hoping he can build on it with Mind Over Mutant.

    N.Brio is returning?!
    AWESOME.

I haven't bought any of the Crash games post-PSone apart from Nitro Kart, but that was really bad.
Titans was apparently ok but maybe it's time for Crash to pack it in...

sonds good but i dont think it'll beat the old ps1 games, they were when crash was at the top of his game and i just dont think he'll ever get that back. maybe crash should hibernate for now...
though i would like a remake of the original games on wii!

i agree my two favourite series are crash and spyro and ever since they made thier leap from ps1 to next genration concoles, they have never been as good, as i found some were good and some were not so good. Bring back the ps1 style games and naughty dog.

This is great news, seems like it is 1 a year, but will this one be good, i hope so

Crash bandicoot 1, 2 + 3 where awesome ... i liked twinsanity that was great but ... crash of the titans ... WHY DO THEY HAVE TO TAKE AWAY ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKE CRASH BANDICOOT A WORK OF ART ... SPIN ATTACK punching and kicking oh that original spin attack was just one of the main parts of a crsh game and plus the cliche of the riding the titan thing just ruins the hole crash bandicoot game completly ... who ever makes this game i forgot go back to the warp hole idea that was ace same with spyro and his portal thingys that was even ace ... er

good to see crash spinning back on to wii, but cant the developers kinda copy galaxy and reinvent crash into a different kind of game, i have nothing against kicking the crap out of enemies and completing levels its just its gunna get old rly fast

naughty dog were brilliant. shame the crash games when over to a different company. i mean, crash xs, crash n.tranced, crash nitro kart, they're just some of the examples of how no one can match up to naugty dog. the first two games were what tempted me to get a playstation. the first spyro did help with that too. why don't they call back naughty dog to help them with this game

    Crash died with naughty dog.

He will never be as good as he was in the first 4 games. :(

Crash coming back already. I thought it be a bit longer until he be back. Well I hope it be funny like last time I hope they put more leves in this game because his old games on the ps2 and the ps1 were great and I like to see some of crash's old enemies like Dr Troy the time guy in crash bandicoot 3 and dingodile the half dingo and half crocodile guy. but I can't believe N.Brio is coming back. the titans must be really cool. :D

They should just make a back-to-basics Crash Bandicoot platformer

Much like the first 3 on the PS1
