10 coolest things you can buy from Japan's Pokemon store

There is some awesome stuff available from Amazon Japan's Pokemon department

Okay, perhaps coolest is stretching it a bit. You won't look particularly cool walking around at Glastonbury next year with a pair of Pikachu wellies on but there are some amazing things available from amazon.co.jp's Pokemon store. Proof again that Japan gets some of the best - and quirkiest - stuff. The campaign starts here for a Pokemon store like this in the UK!

My favourite thing is the Pokemon cooking set. How about you?

We saw the Pikachu mug and thought: 'that's cool' but throw in the kettle, saucepan and chopping board plus the utensils and you've got the ultimate cooking set. Not sure how sharp that knife would be though. Maybe it needs a Pikachu knife sharpener as well.

I knew that. I even wrote about it earlier this week. Don't know why I wrote Tepig originally. I must have had a senior moment.

I've seen the walls of plushies they have in photos, and that's all I want. All of them. Gotta hug 'em all.

Dunno why this article is so obsessed with shoes though... did Sarah write it?

Replace Pikachu with Sonic and I'd buy the lot.

No Mudkip hats? For shame. Then again, why bother with hats when you've got all of that footwear?

Im quite the plushie collector too. So far I have; Duskull,Larvitar,Pikachu,Elekid,Charizard,Tepig,Oshawott,Snivy,Pansage,Axew and a Japanese Zekrom.

But thats the thing though, compared to the 'American Version' Plushies, the Japanese ones look kind of badly made =/
Zekrom for example is made of some odd fabric, and its wings are thin bits of hard felt, the rings on its tail, the blue bits on its horns and the eyes are 'painted' on and feel like you could pull them off. Ok its rustic, but I still prefer the more proffsionaly made looking ones...

You should try and find some Banpresto plushes. They're a Japanese company, and the ones they make are fantastic quality.

I expected more from this list. You mostly picked footwear and the remainder was largely stuff you can buy outside of Japan anyway massively reducing their 'cool' status.

There's a lot of Pikachu footwear isn't there? I'd love to get a small Pikachu statue for my desk though (along with a bunch of other Nintendo characters).
