The big Wii U games list - what you need to play

Our thoughts on every Wii U game

Did you know that there are currently over 50 games confirmed for Wii U? Considering most Wii U games currently cost £40 and upwards, it'll be hard to know what you should buy. That's why we're here! We're going to tell you which Wii U games you should be looking forward to and the titles you should avoid. This is the big Wii U games list!

Yet, it's not just a list of titles. We'll tell you about each game and our anticipation rating will tell you whether you should look forward to it or not. As more games are announced we'll add them to the list and as the games are reviewed, the anticipation ratings will magically turn into review scores. This will be your complete guide to every Wii U game that has been officially confirmed for release in the UK. We've also included some of the biggest Wii U eShop games.

007 Legends

Developer: Eurocom; Publisher: Activision; Release Date: TBC

Following the release of Skyfall, the popularity of James Bond has never been higher. Yet rather than release a game based on the latest Bond movie, develops Eurocom (GoldenEye Wii) have released a compilation of missions based on old Bond film. So you can expect to be gunning down bad guys in levels based on Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day and Skyfall (which was released as free DLC on other formats). It's a strange mix of films and although they have been chosen to represent each era of Bond, you play as Daniel Craig. It's already out on other formats but reviews haven't been kind with CVG calling it a brainless and incompetent Call Of Duty clone on the way to giving it 4 out of 10.

Somehow I don't see the comparison between the Razors edge description and the video provided...

For a second there, I thought you only gave MH3U 4 stars. Also, DQX only 4 stars, be ashamed.

Assassins Creed III looks completely awesome, I've never owned any of the other games in the series so just can't wait for this one, I just hope it doesn't suffer from jitters in graphics like some third party games in America have been reported to contain (looking at you mass effect), but the trailer looks good none the less:D

Some great looking games on the way! I am glad I have preordered mine. For a bit I was wondering if I should wait, as I did with the 3DS, but I have preordered it with Zombiu and after that I have Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land as launch games that particularly interest me. Then next year we've got Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Lego City Undercover, Rayman Legends, Monster Hunter Ultimate and then some games that I haven't been able to play due to not having an Xbox 360 or PS3. After that there's the promise of Smash Bros. and then all the games us Nintendo fans can expect, like Zelda and a 3D Mario. On top of that there's the chance of Nintendo bringing back an old series like with Kid Icarus and then the unknown game that Shigeru Miyamoto has been working on. Its exciting to say the least!

However, in my opinion the 3DS had more exciting games promised, but not only were most not released for a while, quite a lot have simply disappeared! I think Nintendo has done a better job with the Wii U, fewer games, but more nearby release dates!

Can someone tell me what the rank number means next to your name because im not sure if it gains you anything or just tells you how long you've been on.

It's how many times you've played PARTY GAME CHAMPIONS.

Once MH3U is released, I literally will not be buying ANY other WiiU game...

Unless of course, the WiiU gets another Monster Hunter game after the release of MH3U.
    Who knows?

The smart gamer will be buying PARTY GAME CHAMPIONS.

How many times does deKay have to post his lame attempt at a joke that was barely funny the first time before he gets warned for spamming, I wonder.

Not much in that list I'm excited for or care about, but some titles I'd consider when I pick up a Wii-U next year.

    I'm not joking.
