New Super Mario Bros U video shows Boost Mode

See a family playing the new Mario Wii U game together

This New Super Mario Bros U multiplayer video shows the Boost Mode in action. Boost Mode enables five players to enjoy New Super Mario Bros U together but in this video we just have a Mum, a Dad and their son playing the game.

The Mum has taken on the duties of block placing, helping out her husband and son as they leap through the level. However, when it comes to hitting the top of the flag, she shows a bit of favouritism.

Can't exactly say that sells it to me. Rather, boring. Oh well.

I cannot see my mum doing that, I certainly can't see her being good at it.

I must say that is may be the best of these "What Is Wii U?" ads that I've seen so far.
Also, did I see a Mii pop out of a tree in the background towards the end? I did, I did see a Mii pop out of a tree in the background towards the end.
