Missed the show? Catch up with all the news now!

It's a big day for Nintendo fans as three Nintendo Direct shows are broadcast today. We kicked off in Japan at 11am UK time (8pm in Japan) and for those who missed the show - which was broadcast live on ONM - you can see it again below.

Iwata has presented Nintendo Direct in the past as a Brain Training head but he kicked off Nintendo Direct as a LEGO character before showcasing LEGO City Undercover, one of the biggest Wii U games of 2013.

Following this we had a showcase off all the Wii U launch games that are coming to Japan when the console launches in the country on 8 December, including Monster Hunter Ultimate Edition.

Pikmin 3, Wii Fit U and Dragon Quest X trailers were also shown off - Dragon Quest X and Pikmin 3 are out in Japan in Spring 2013.

As for news, Iwata revealed that Game And Wario will include 16 games, including one that features classic WarioWare micro-games. That's coming out in early 2013 in Japan.

In other news, it was confirmed that New Super Mario Bros U will have its own Youtube channel so Nintendo can show off hints and tricks for the plumber's new game.

Wii U Panorama View has a Spring 2013 release date in Japan. It's available in the Wii U eShop and will be joined by a Google Maps app that enables you to to look around streets using the GamePad.

Don't forget that this broadcast is followed by Nintendo Direct US and Nintendo Direct Europe are both at 5pm and you'll be able to watch the Europe edition live here on ONM.

Reggie Fils-Aime has said that there are more Wii U surprises on the way in the launch window so it is possible that there will be some announcements.

However, all we know so far is that Nintendo will be focusing on show will focus on games coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in the remainder of 2012 and the first months of 2013. Of course, Wii U isn't out yet in Japan so the Japanese Nintendo Direct may also feature some talk about this week's big launch.

What did you think of the Japanese Nintendo Direct and what are you hoping for from this afternoon's shows?

"Played" Panorama View at Eurogamer. It was nice, but utterly pointless.

Remember that Wii U isn't out yet in Japan so it was bound to feature lots of stuff we've already seen before. I'd expect the broadcasts this afternoon to be better. That Pikmin 3 video wasn't bad though!

It's very similar to Hidden In Plain Sight on the 360, which is excellent.
