eShop games of the week - Hydroventure: Spin Cycle, Rayman Legends demo and more

Video: See this week's big downloads in action

It's a good week for the 3DS eShop this week as WiiWare game Hydroventure makes its 3DS debut. It's joined by Crimson Shroud - the third game in Level 5's Guld01 series to make it to the eShop - and DSi puzzler Wizard Defenders. A Rayman Legends demo is also available on Wii U.

In Hydroventure: Spin Cycle (3DS: Nintendo, £8.99), you have to tilt, turn and even rotate your 3DS system 360 degrees to move a puddle of water named Eddy through a maze-like, magical world.

Crimson Shroud (3DS: Level 5: £7.19) is a traditional adventure RPG from Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics designer Yasumi Matsuno in which crucial decisions hinge on the roll of a die. You play as a Chaser who is an expert at searching for people in an adventure set 1,000 years in the past which tells the story of how magic came into the world.

In Wizard Defenders (3DS or DSi: Teyon, 200 Points or £1.79), you have to defend the kingdom against hordes of dreadful monsters. You can cast spells against monsters, perform combos and destroy them but to destroy the most powerful opponents you have to gather more magic and perform a Magical Explosion.

You can also download a Rayman Legends demo for free on Wii U while Metroid and Metroid 2 have both been reduced in the 3DS eShop. Metroid now costs £3.19 while Metroid 2 is going for £2.69.

I played the Rayman demo for a few minutes in GAME, can't wait to play it properly on my own WiiU. Unless it's a different demo, which is even better.

I'm looking forward to getting Metroid 2 at a reduced price. I'm glad I held out like I did with Donkey Kong.

Been looking forward to Crimson Shroud since they announced it a couple of months ago, only problem is that I don't have any money >_<.

Hope theres more Discounted gretness for the following weeks up to christmas XD

Hydroadventure and Crimson Shroud seem a bit high in price for me, so i might have to wait before downloading them.
