Rayman Legends UK release date set for March

Play the demo to see if you want to buy it

Ubisoft have announced a new UK release date for Rayman Legends. The eagerly anticipated Wii U game will now be released for Nintendo's new console on 1 March.

Nintendo's latest Wii U release schedule had Rayman Legends down for a 28 February release date but it has been put back by one day to 1 March. The limbless legend's new game was originally meant to be a Wii U launch game and seeing as we've had to wait nearly three months for it to be released, an extra day won't hurt.

The news comes as fans are busy playing the Rayman Legends demo which is now available to download from the Wii U eShop.

Rayman Legends is the follow-up to classic Wii platformer Rayman Origins. One player can use the GamePad to control Murphy while the other controls Rayman on the Remote. The player in charge of Murphy can swat enemies and cut ropes on the touchscreen and also rotate the new controller to rotate platforms.

With some many great games coming out around March time,it seems that March is the month of money.

A whole extra day? Right. That's one game that's not getting my money. It show's they don't respect the fans. Can't believe this...

I was SO pleased they included Castle Rock in the demo! All the levels work really well and it looks amazing in HD! I've never experienced such great quality from a Demo :D
