Mutant Mudds 2 confirmed

Two Mutant Mudds games incoming

Renegade Kid has confirmed that Mutant Mudds 2 is on the way to the 3DS eShop.

"A sequel will happen, for sure," tweeted Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham. "Yes, Mutant Mudds 2 is confirmed."

With Mutant Mudds Deluxe also scheduled for release on Wii U, fans of the original have a lot to look forward to in the first part of 2013.

The original Mutant Mudds game was a retro-style platformer starring Max, a hero who could hover around 2D levels and take out the mutant Mudds with his water blaster. It was perfect for 3DS as you could switch to the platforms in the background by standing on switches.

Did you like the original Mutant Mudds game? Would you download a sequel?

Will definitely pick up the sequel and even number 1 on wii u due to exclusive bonus content. One of 2012 little gems in my opinion but hey I'm a retro gamer so it played to my tune so to speak ;]

When I first played the demo of Mutant Mudds I wasn't that impressed. However, I recently tried it again and really enjoyed it. I'm currently waiting to see how the Deluxe version compares, but I'm sure a sequel will be welcomed by exisiting fans.
