Monster Hunter 4: You can customise your Felyne

New details on the 3DS exclusive

You'll be able to customise your Felyne in Monster Hunter 4. That's the word from the latest edition of Japanese magazine Famitsu which features a report on the forthcoming 3DS game.

Felyne are cat-like creatures who are able to talk and have worked for Hunters as Felyne Chefs or Felyne Comrades in past games. Felyne Chefs cook food for you while Comrades aid you in quests.

In Monster Hunter 4, you can select eyes, ears and fur for your number one Felyne. You can then bring a sub Felyne friend with you for quests and they can hold onto enemies to keep them in place or knock them out of the air.

Monster Hunter 4 is one of our best 3DS games for 2013.

This is quite cool news, i love the Felynes in the Monster Hunter games!
I just hope we dont have to wait too long for the 3DS and Wii U game to come out over here.

One of our best games for 2013 but we've yet to hear of an official UK/Western release for it. Fingers crossed though, eh?
To me, the felyne customisation is superfluous but it's still good to keep up with whats going on

The felyne customisation is a lot better then ChaCha (going by MHP3rd).

This sounds great. I always that the Felynes already looked cool if you had a high level armor so wondering how incredible this actually is.
