Monster Hunter: Ultimate Edition to support USB keyboards

Chat with your friends while playing online

You'll be able to use a USB keyboard to communicate with your friends while playing Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Edition. That's the word from Christian Svensson, Senior Vice-President of Capcom.

Wring on the Capcom Unity forum, Svensson said: "There will be a day 1 update that will add functionality to support USB keyboards for chat (naturally, there's also a soft keyboard for those to use... and other features we'll talk about later)."

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Edition is set for release in the UK in March.

If only the option could be used for control (As a keyboard and mouse set-up).

I'm glad they have it in this version of the game too used it a lot on Monster Hunter Tri. The only issue i had with the text chat option was that it bleeped out words when they weren't even rude. I realise it's because of the wide range of languages in europe but the fact that i can't even say after it is a bit silly. But times as they are now wouldn't voice chat be considered better? Looking forward to this so much Tri was one of my most played games on Wii.

Hang on, why would you need a USB keyboard, when the wii u gamepad could potentially house a touchscreen keypad?
Or am I missing something here?

or we could have voice chat support....
isn't that what the mike on the gamepad is for?
in fact that's the same as the 3DS one! so why dont we have more Mic chat support?

why cant we do just voice chat parties in miiverse? when is miiverse out for 3DS?

    QUESTIONS!

I agree, the mic is the most unused piece of hardware on recent Nintendo systems.
I would assume that it is for voice chat, but so far no games have included it.

You couldn't say 'after' because 'after' in German apparently means 'anus'.
Also, you could just get a bluetooth keyboard, since they're like Ł8 in Tesco. Or just use the voice chat...
