Incredible Pikmin 3 screenshots show off new photo feature

Take beautiful photos of Miyamoto's new garden

Pikmin 3 looks beautiful. You already knew that but you can see just how detailed the world is when you zoom in and take a photo using the Wii U GamePad.

This neat little feature was announced during Nintendo Direct on Wednesday afternoon. You can use your Wii U GamePad as if it were a camera, zooming in and taking photos before sharing them on Miiverse.

These new screenshots show the new photo feature in action. Send one of these into Countryfile's photo of the year competition and we reckon you'd win! Yes, with that last sentence, I've just revealed that I'm a very old man.

I really enjoyed smash bros. because you could take pics. and enjoy the whacky stuff you did while playing (or taking a picture of every pokemon).

A neat little feature, obviously not game changing but very nice none the less.

Nice feature but I hope there's other new features as well to make the 3rd seem new and fresh!

I love how much detail there is in the varying focus in these pictures. Although I'm not surre that if you're being chased by a creature that is five times your size, the best thing to do is stop and and pap it.
