Limited Edition LEGO City Undercover bundle coming at end of March

Get a Chase McCain figure with your copy of the game

Nintendo aren't going down the Disney Infinity route with LEGO City Undercover but you will be able to buy a limited edition bundle which includes a Chase McCain figure when the game is released at the end of March.

As announced last week, the LEGO City Undercover UK release date will fall on 28 March. This Chase McCain figure won't unlock anything in your game but you can buy a special LEGO City playset which will come with a code which you can use to unlock missions.

Of course, Chase McCain is the hero of LEGO City Undercover. This multi-talented cop and master of disguise attempts to arrest the dangerous Rex Fury who is responsible for the recent crime wave in LEGO City.

To do this he goes undercover, exploring LEGO City using his many disguises. For example, you can dress up as a miner if you want to use dynamite or become a robber to force open doors.

As you explore, you can use the Wii U GamePad as a communicator to talk to others, to scan your surroundings for clues or criminals, or to view the handy map and GPS route when driving around the city.

Are you going to buy this limited edition LEGO City Undercover bundle?

Preordered the mini figure edition. Just debating whether it's worth getting the city playset to get the bonus missions code.

If it's anything like Pokemon it'll probably be a standard code for every set. They could print individual, one use codes but it'd be far easier for them to use the one code, and if that is the case then it'll almost certainly be available online.

Pokemon have been trying this for a few years now (buy the game guide with the secret code in and download an exclusive Pokemon from the Global Link) but the codes are always the same for buying every book/whatever (I can only think of one exception). It might be worth doing some waiting and research before shelling out?

Wait what?! I thought Shibata said the figure came with the standard game but only in the first few copies, I pre-ordered mine hoping I was fast enough to get one but now they say the mini-fig comes in a special edition that's ONLY JUST been announced? AY AY AY! So you're telling me they've changed it now and I can't get the Chase figure because I pre-ordered the wrong edition, some one HELP! tell me if I can get it or not.
