This Shin Megami 3DS XL will become the eighth limited edition 3DS XL to be released in Japan when it launches on 23 May.
The 3DS XL has been designed to coincide with the Shin Megami Tensei IV release date on 23 May. The 3DS game will be pre-installed on the system.
Shin Megami Tensei IV is the latest game in Atlus' RPG series. The game made its debut on SNES in 1992 and the sequel followed two years later. A third game - Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne - came to PS2 in 2005 and although Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey was released for DS in 2009, this is the first numbered title to come to a Nintendo console for nearly 20 years.
The original was a first-person RPG in which players explored dungeons with a party of up to six characters, taking on enemies in turn-based battles. You also need to collect, demons, bribing them during battle to add them to your team. Then you can summon them for a small amount of money to be used in battle.
With Shin Megami X Fire Emblem set for release on Wii U and Ghostlight bringing Atlus' Devil Survivor Overclocked to 3DS, fans will be hoping that Shin Megami IV will be released in the UK.
Here are the many different designs of 3DS.
