Sonic: Lost World will boast all-new enemies and gameplay. That's according to John Cheng, President and Chief Financial Officer of Sega of America, who revealed a few bits of information about Sonic The Hedgehog's new Wii U exclusive.
Satoru Iwata revealed very few details about Sonic: Lost World when it was unveiled during Nintendo Direct last week, simply announcing details about the deal with Sega and showing off some artwork which, presumably, is the Lost World.
Now John Cheng has broken the silence, saying: "With 'Sonic Lost World,' we're going to introduce new gameplay and enemies, which is always fun. In terms of Sonic and his friends, he'll have his same friends there, and I think there'll be some new ones as well. It's not a reiteration. It's going to be all new."
Cheng believes the deal is not only good for the Sonic brand but also for Wii U. "It should be a win-win situation," he added. "Don't count Nintendo out."
