Pokemon X and Y presentation taking place on 11 June at E3

Junichi Masuda will be sharing more Pokemon X and Y information at E3 2013

Nintendo will host a Pokemon X and Y presentation at E3 2013. The presentation will be hosted by Game Freak Director Junichi Masuda and Pokemon Company President Tsunekazu Ishihara on 11 June at 2am UK time.

The presentation - which also includes a question and answer session - is said to last around 90 minutes so you can expect to learn lots of information about Pokemon X and Y.

11 June is set to be the biggest day of the year so far for Nintendo fans. For starters we have Nintendo Direct at 3pm where you'll see Mario Kart Wii U, Smash Bros Wii U and the new 3D Mario game. Following that, Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime will be hosting a media showcase at 5.30pm where ONM will be playing the new games on show and finally we have this Pokemon presentation.

The only event that will definitely be streamed is the Nintendo Direct broadcast but we'll have all the news and gameplay impressions from all three big shows.

The next CoroCoro Magazine, which promises more Pokemon X and Y news should be released around the same time as E3, while every Pokemon Smash Show between now and launch will feature information on Pokemon X and Y.

A little late to the party given I had already made mention of this elsewhere, but at least it's a feature (as it so rightly should be).

Now we wait to see what Nintendo bring to the table on that day. Let the predictions roll.

90 mins seems a bit much for just X&Y... I think they mean the round table will be 90 mins, and the X&Y presentation/discussion will be included in that... that raises the question about what they'll be talking about for the rest of the time... another new Pokemon game to be announced at E3 perhaps?

And with this announcement, Nintendo have already "won" E3 2013.

If this is getting livestreamed, I might very well stay up to watch it, see if we get any new info/screenshots/gameplay. If not, there's bound to be a summary of it a few hours after the presentation.

More Pokemon games the better perhaps a teaser at a all 3D Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remake.

Just seen this, and that's absolutely great!
Pokémon news! And Mario Kart news! And a few great other games! All from Nintendo! All on the same day! Hooray!
Okay, forced excitement aside, Nintendo fans and myself will have a lot to look forward to.

Really can't hold off my E3 predictions blog much longer.
