Skylanders Swap Force Wii will be very close to the HD versions

Expect the same gameplay, toy compatibility and levels and systems

Skylanders: Swap Force is one of a few games that is being released on Wii and Wii U this year and fans of the game can expect a similar experience on both consoles.

That's the word from Vicarious Visions who have assured fans that although the Wii version won't look as good as the Wii U game, it will boast the same gameplay.

Vicarious Visions are creating the Wii U version while Beenox are on Wii development duties and in an interview with FamilyGamerTV, VV CEOs Guha Bala and Karthik Bala said that Beenox were able to pack a lot into the Wii game.

"Beenox has been able to use the Alchemy Engine that powers all the versions of Swap Force," said Guha Bala. "They have take over all the gameplay, toy compatibility and levels and systems and make that all available on the Wii."

Karthik Bala added: "Of course, the Wii is a 480p system so it's not a High Definition system so to speak, and so graphics wise it will have that type of outlook, gameplay wise it will be very, very close to everything else."

the Wii Version is still selling i think the most due to a lot of families already owning the Wii, its selling far better than any wii U game has sold for 8 months. it will be the same for most kids, they wil be happy enough with the Wii Version considering the U version wont offer them anything different like tablet interaction etc.
