UK Chart: The Wonderful 101 is the Wii U number one...

... But it misses out on the UK top 20

The Wonderful 101 has gone straight in at number one in the Wii U chart but Platinum's new action game failed to make the UK top 20, reaching 22 in the All-format countdown.

Can't say I'm suprised, unfortunately, given the WiiU's horrific UK sales figures - which are particularly suprising given it's sold reasonably well in most other markets.

Angry Birds Trilogy in the Wii top 10? WHY, GOD?!

Just out of curiosity, but do these charts take into account preowned game sales from stores like Game?

ive got Disney infinity on Wii u and its so much fun and its kind of good it didnt do good on 3ds because i heard it was rubbish and w101 deserves more and i doubt it will get higher next week

Unsurprised on the top three. Unsurprised on where The Wonderful 101 is placed. Shame, because it's a really good game, but we know what the Wii U is lacking above all else.

At least two games that are available on the Wii U too are ranked 2nd and 3rd in the all-format charts, even if they're moderately ranked on the Wii U chart.

could you put a wii u download top ten as well (if possible?)

    also still no earthbound

Start eShop on Wii U, and select "Charts" on top menu.
Then you get list of top 20.

Take into account that some people got 30% off of this if they downloaded this after downloading Pikmin 3 and there would be many more sales.
Still a shame to see a brilliant game with surprisingly good backstories to some characters not even in the Top 20.

Disney Infinity. It looks good and plays well from what I've seen my brothers play but I feel that the voices aren't even right for the characters. Oh and to achieve 100% you have to buy every character as in the Incredibles set for example there is a chest which you have to interact with every character from the incredibles that you can play as. Also they already have the data for all the characters in game already. The figures are basically DLC of sorts that unlock the data. Just go to the hall of heroes and approach the stands and when you press a button you get a video of the character in their playset.

an awful money making scam like disney infinity is in the top ten for all nintendo consoles now THAT is something to complain about not angry birds being in there, but I'm glad that the w101 got #1 for wii u though it really deserves it for being such a great unique game

    Wow. That's just... utterly terrible.

Just because Disney Infinity is worse, doesn't mean Angry Birds shouldn't be called out for its scumminess. They're selling three 69p mobile games on a disc for at least 20.

It might have helped if shops actually got the game in for sale.
I've been all over town and not one game selling store has had any copies to sell.

I did my bit,and brought the game, and good it is too,but lets face it we all knew this wasn't going to sell well.

Also got Infinity at the weekend, and great to see it selling, loving it more than 101 atm.

These reports don't really mean anything if they don't include the download sales, especially for W101, because of the 30% off promotion if you downloaded Pikmin 3. I can't see W101 selling as well as some games on other consoles, because it's more of a niche title.

You should see what where it ranked in Japan. It crashed and burned big time, selling just over 5000 copies in its opening week! Not good at all. There's room for improved sales yes, but selling so low in its opening week? I think the Marketing and PR guys need sacking and replacing with people who can do a more competent job.

Those vultures might already start circling for when Bayonetta 2 hits out next year.

This is very worrying that the number 1 Wii U consoles game doesn't even make the top 20 all round.
