Video: Should you buy The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD?

Chandra points out all the little details that you couldn't see in the GameCube original

It's Wind Waker week on ONM. We're building up to the release of The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD with a series of videos in which Official Nintendo Magazine Editor-In-Chief Chandra Nair asks if you should buy the remake of the GameCube classic if you've already played the original.

In the first video, Chandra focuses on the visuals, pointing out how Wind Waker has improved and all the little details that you couldn't see in the GameCube title. It's also the only Wind Waker video to feature the Russian duo t.A.T.u who were famous for the song All The Things She Said. Shhh... Don't tell Chandra that it was originally released in 2002.

have it on pre order and looking forward to playing it again, though it still feels like a wasted opportunity. some new islands and maybe another dungeon or two could easily of been added in.

got it on gamecube. not a great enough effort to warrant full price. the game was never needed of an overhaul anyway

I agree with you there but I've bought it anyway along with another Wii U console, Zelda edition :)

Looks fantastic and is undoubtedly a fantastic game.

But should it cost full price?

Yes the new lighting, 16:9 1080p, gamepad support is all well and good but these are only modifications to the original engine.

Where are the higher resolution textures?
