Mega Mario Bundle hits the Nintendo UK Online Store

Get enough Mario to last a lifetime and a fetching hat, to boot

Have you been saving those pennies waiting for a Wii U bundle that speaks to you? Well, you may want to take a hammer to the piggy bank as Nintendo UK unveils the Mega Mario Bundle, set to launch alongside Super Mario 3D World on 29 November.

The bundle includes - deep breath - a Wii U Premium Pack, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, a limited edition Mario Wii RemotePlus and a Mario hat. That's a whole lot of Mario in this, the year of Luigi. (Forgive me!)

A Mario Mega Bundle. Mario's creepy disembodied hand not included.

The bundle is £299.99, which is pretty good going, considering the Premium Wii U + NSMBU + NSLU usually sells for £249.99. For an extra £50 you're getting 3D World (lovely), a snazzy controller to enable two-person multiplayer and, er, a hat. Maybe whoever wins the aforementioned two-person multiplayer can wear the hat? Just an idea.

Either way, the bundle is exclusive to the Nintendo UK Online Store, and can be found here. And while you're there, why not check out the other shiny trinkets on display. If you don't leave with your arms trembling under the weight of limited edition Zelda 3DS XLs, you've more self-control than us.

Ooooooh...shiny! I don't actually own a WiiU as I didn't see the point in buying one just before I went to uni (and taking it to uni is out of the question) and I'll be sleeping/working during the holidays. Plus I have my 3DS and with ALTP and Bravely Default I'm all set for Christmas. Still, if I WERE to buy one, that would likely be it!
